Mallards is part of a lovely old building which used to be a Steam Laundry and before that a Timber Mill. It was converted into three large houses in the 1980s, each with its own private terrace beside the canal. There is parking space next to the house for up to 3 cars with access along a private drive. The sheltered location and central heating make it ideal for use all year round.

  • The property is suitable for use by up to eight adults.
  • Cot and high chair available.
  • Wireless broadband internet connection available free of charge.
  • Pets are welcome, but must be confined to the ground floor and be kept on a lead outside.
  • This is a non-smoking house, but you are welcome to smoke outside in the covered entrance porch.

Bedrooms

First Floor

Bedroom 1 – 10 x Double bed (4ft 6ins). Chest of drawers. Very cosy room with a large window looking over the canal

Bedroom 4 – 1 x single bed. Chest of drawers.

Second Floor

Bedroom 2 – 1 x double bed (5ft) and 1 x single bed. Wardrobe and drawers. Large room with views towards Bude town centre.

Bedroom 3 – 2 x single beds. Chest of drawers. Velux roof window with blackout blind.

Kitchen / Dining Room

Split-level and open plan with windows to the canal and to the parking area. Dining area with table seating up to 8 adults. The kitchen is generously equipped with crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils, plus a dishwasher, microwave, gas range cooker with 7 burners, 2 ovens and grill, and a large fridge/freezer.

Bathroom & Shower Rooms

Bathroom First Floor – Bath, WC, separate shower and wash basin.

Bathroom Second Floor – Bath, WC, separate shower and wash basin.

Cloakroom Ground Floor – WC and washbasin.

Lounge

Very large and light room with views of the canal and countryside. Comfortable chairs and sofas for 8 people. Writing table and chair. Smart TV with Freeview channels and internet connection for watching your own subscription services.
